It doesn’t really have enough actual gameplay and I spent too much of my time running from room to room. I suppose this is where the map struggles. There is a nicely lit corridor, which has a blue hue coming from the windows. As you would expect the general feel is dark but never dark enough for me to become frustrated. The areas are boxy and badly proportioned, but it must be hard to detail this kind of building, especially if you don’t have access to new models and textures. That means it’s easy to have a negative viewpoint on earlier releases. In this case I have already played the next two in the series, which as you would expect are better. I honestly believe the order you play a series of mods is important, as well as the time between release and play.
